The blog, wiki and delicious are useful materials in teaching EFL students. They are very useful supplemental aid to the teacher because she or he can create, edit, or delete their teaching handouts such as notes, homework assignment, and review materials. now I will explain each one.
First one is the blog, Blogs which people create for communication and journaling can be used effectively as a teaching tool to reach and react with a target audience. I can use blog in teaching many subjects in my classroom. I can also use a blog to post links to resources, assignments and communications to students, students will not be tied to location or a time schedule for learning.In addition, I can teach writing and reading through using blogs, and put some activities and ask students to solve it. If I want to show a video or picture I can do this on a blog that a student can view at their own time. I think using blogs in teaching EFL learning will help me to be a good teacher.
Second one is wiki, wikis can be used to facilitate computer-supported collaborative learning. it is a very simple webpage creation. I can use wiki in teaching my students writing. I may also put the assignments, schedules and the handouts and ask students to go for it. By using wiki I can motiviate students to communicate and sharing expereinces. It is a very useful material in teaching EFL students.
Third, Delicious is a free website that enables all the users around the world to bookmark their favorite web contents on the web. It is easy to use and understand by anyone. I can use delicious if i want to keep links that are important such as, blogs, music, reviews, recipes,and access them from any comuter. students can Share favorites with thier friends, family and other. On delicious, you can use tags to organize and remember your bookmarks, which is a much more flexible system than folders.
